Mi Jeong Jeon won her third consecutive JLPGA event, coming back from a four-stroke deficit with four holes to play and defeating Yuri Fudoh on the 6th playoff hole at the Vernal Ladies in Fukuoka. She is the first player in JLPGA history to string together three victories in a row.
Meanwhile, doctors did blood tests on imoto this weekend when her fever lasted five days and have been doing further testing today to try to understand why her white blood cell count is so low.
