I've got two jobs for your revolutionary vanguard, Bill. One, find some way to dispel the Mostly Harmless jinx. Two, assassinate the assorted weather and golf gods who intervened on behalf of the jinx in Korea on Sunday.

The jinx? What's the jinx responsible for beyond wreaking havoc with women's golf? Maybe if those golfers would stop sneezing into their hands and sneezed into their elbows things would go right. Maybe you could get onechan a consulting contract to teach Sneezology 101.

Well, we need the money.... I'm there!

Hey, this is getting serious. The Mostly Harmless jinx is out and threatening to burn down some of my favorite West Coast bloggers. And it caused my car battery to die twice in one day--and engineered emergencies all over campus and the region that led to it taking 2 hours for me to get a jump the second time, thanks in part to its idiocy-inducing powers (I turned down 3 offers for a jump). It is on the loose. The only question is, can it be stopped? I figure this is a job for The Revolutionary Vanguard!

Is this your new bought-in-Japan Prius that's acting up?

Nah, the '96 Chevy Cavalier my parents have given us. Less than 75K mi. on it, so it's not the car's fault. Just mine for leaving the lights on overnight. Although the fact the Prius's light switch has you turn it off in the opposite twisty direction as the Cavalier and the Prius's lights go off anyway when you turn off the power on the car may have been contributing factors to this boneheaded mistake.
