2010 Worldwide Women's Golf Schedule: LPGA, JLPGA, LET

Thanks to a tip from reader John on the JLPGA's 2010 schedule and a reminder from Golf Girl about the LET's 2010 schedule, it's now possible to start speculating about where exactly a range of female professional golfers with dual memberships might be playing next season. Or it will be, once the LET's Q-School has been completed and I get some information on the full KLPGA 2010 schedule (which apparently is still under construction). I don't have time to do any of that right now, but here's a look ahead at some of the choices they'll have to be making in 2010. (Note: I'm not including an LET team event and a LPGA silly season event, both in mid-April, in this list, even though both tours do to pad their totals on the year.)

[Update 1 (2:15 am): Ah, I actually went ahead and started speculating about players' 2010 schedules and potential implications for the top women's tours over at Hound Dog's place.]

[Update 2 (2:47 am): I got more, over at Waggle Room.]

[Update 3 (7:35 am): The Futures Tour has 17 events in 2010. Not putting them up here, as they're a minor league tour, but worth checking it out.]

[Update 4 (1/8/10, 4:56 am): I've just put the FT schedule up alongside those of the Cactus Tour and SunCoast Series, to get a sense of how those mainly on the developmental tours will be putting together their schedules in 2010.]

[Update 5 (2/28/10, 2:28 am): Larry Dorman confirms the reports out of Asia (and twitter) that the LPGA will be going to Malaysia instead of China in late October this season.]

Lorie Kane is starting her season Down Under before the Tour begins stateside at La Costa. The attached article from her hometown paper is devoted more to her views on Tigergate and her recent run with the Olympic torch.

Six players who played on the Futures Tour earned full status on the LET in 2010 at this week's LET Q School in Spain.
Three of them are Americans: Alison Walshe, Hannah Jun, and Mallory Blackwelder. The others are Kristie Smith from Australia, Dewi Claire Schreefel from the Netherlands, and Pernilla Lindberg from Sweden.
Lindberg also earned "full" status on the LPGA for 2010 with her top 20 finish at LPGA Q School this month.
The Futures Tour has its first international event in 2010... Mexico in late March.

Thanks, Dave, I've been following it in more recent posts:

I have one coming out at midnight that puts the LPGA priority status list for 2010 in this post's context.

This is great stuff. I was sort of hoping you'd have some city information, especially for tournaments outside the US, where I'm guessing the bulk of your audience resides. I guess I'll do that myself.

Good idea, Diane. When the KLPGA releases their 2010 schedule, I'll copy and paste this one in as my template and add some more geographic information...and probably reorganize it so it's clearer what tournaments are concurrent.
