Here's hoping they steal more weekends from the Golf Channel!

I was also surprised Pettersen--who was hitting a lot of greens, making a lot of birdies, and had been playing great for over a month--didn't make more of a move on the back 9 on Saturday (previously she had shot two 34s on the back). Bogeying 10 and failing to birdie 17 were huge mistakes. People are certainly conspiring to make things easier on Ochoa and Davies.

I have to agree with you that Ochoa is the favorite to pull away--just don't tell Berube I said it!The Constructivisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07242149985581771922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1198629951037494295.post-19238075140263753182007-04-14T17:52:00.000-04:002007-04-14T17:52:00.000-04:00btw> Kelly's hole-in-one on the fourth today at th...btw> Kelly's hole-in-one on the fourth today at the Verizon will be costly. That town is mega-party always waiting to happen.

They just announced that they will reset the pairings for tomorrow's Verizon because of weather. They will tee off in threes and use both the first and tenth as starting holes to shorten the playing time on course. And CBS will televise both the Ginn and Verizon back to back.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1198629951037494295.post-12176925139769244572007-04-14T17:45:00.000-04:002007-04-14T17:45:00.000-04:00As i suggested yesterday Lincicome began to move u...As i suggested yesterday Lincicome began to move up, Gulbis held around, and Ochoa stayed in front. I was more surprised: a) that Davies didn't falter; and b) that Petterson didn't really make a push. The Chairman-for-Life may be taking the more obvious path to prediction, and i certainly think that there is better than even money that Ochoa can win this going away. It would surprise me if Davies can stay in touch. My boldest prediciton: Lincicome will look good going out, but stagger coming in.

Bad weather will make tomorrow difficult in all three tournaments, and given the pouring rain here, that may last into next week too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
