Though i spent the summer in high heat and humidity, discomforted in tour buses and trucks, i still would very much like a few nice Fall warm days to enjoy. It was actually freezing here this morning, and i, for one, am simply not ready for that.
Yeah, fall arrives tomorrow here--although summer went out with a bang (fortunately only figuratively) the past week.
Did you know that in Japan the Christmas decorations and music starts even earlier than here b/c they have no Thanksgiving? Somehow it annoyed me less there than it does here.

Just so you know, spyder, I took that picture last November. I don't expect to see that decoration until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd think Christmas has a rather different valence in Japan than it does here. Sure, there are Christians there, but not like here.
Well, that explains the lantern decorations with Asian text on them that have suddenly appeared on an quaint overpass in my neighborhood.
