Red, Blue, Green, and Orange

This is just a test of the facilities:

hit it-square.jpg

And the test established 400 pixels as the maximum width of an image. Anything beyond that gets clipped.

This is not just a test of the facilities, no. This is just a tribute to the test of the facilities.

And from the results of the attempted tribute it appears that "img" tags are not accepted in comments. Or am I doing something wrong? Not at all familiar with Blogger.

Ooh, da pretty picture of Our Leader with the MOJ's Chief of Special Projects!

Sorry, I go into that high, squeeky girly voice when I see something cute. Impenetrable "female" gene. Let me re-group: I love that photo, Bill! Very cool, and really great angle on 3Tops!

Oaktown Girl personal update: my mangled finger is healing but still mangled, so typing still difficult.
New job starts on Monday, and I have a lot of stuff to do before then, so I'm going to be totally useless for now, TC, on helping you out your upcoming talk.

My goal for today is to try to attempt my first post here (key word = "attempt") which will be a WAAGNFNP communications/update thread. (Adrian has sent me some tech info about "Word Press")

I'll try not to break the blog.

Sorru, I've been using Blogger for almost a year now, and I can't figure out what html is accepted in comments, either. My sense if we need a WordPress blog for the kinds of options we're accustomed to from Le Blogue Berube. But like I said I'm strictly lo-tech when it comes to blogging. So I'm going to make all the co-authors administrators as well. Feel free to much around and change things up here.

Forgive the typos, although it might be cool to "much around" the site. I was quaking with fear at evidence that FHP has a good swing and praising Gojira a large ocean keeps him from taking me up on my little wager with him. At least until August. Ah, but I'll be taking onechan to the driving range once the weather hits the 60s outside (March?). I'll be ready!

Found this in the FAQ:

Only five html tags are accepted:
< a> (for making links)
< strong> and < b> (for making text bold)
< em> and < i> (for making text italicicized)

For anyone who might have noticed that this blog was down for some time today, I want it on the record that it was not me who broke it.

Guessing "Oaktown Girl" would have been, in fact, a good guess, but it wasn't me.

Today is my first day back on a "normal" day/night schedule. It's 3:15pm, and I'm dying over here (ZZzzzzz). My promised first post (or attempted first post) might not make it up until tomorrow.

If any if you are confident enough to "much around" with the raw html of the template, we may be able to import whatever code we want from cooler blogging programs like wordpress or typepad. When you use the coding for babies layout function, there's an html/java addition option, but it seems to me this only adds stuff to the sidebar, rather than changing the way comments work. If it proves necessary to find better facilities--and I'm all for luxurious bathroom fixtures like the huge heated tub at my in-laws' place--I'm fine with leaving the blogger.
