All right, it's time to share my actual guesses about who will finish in the top 15 at the Ricoh Women's British Open this week at St. Andrews!

1. Miyazato Ai
2. Park Inbee
3. Choi Na Yeon
4. Creamer
5. Ryu
6. Webb
7. Lewis, Stacy
8. Matthew
9. Stanford
10. Kim In-Kyung
11. Shin Jiyai
12. Pettersen

Alts: Kang Haeji; Thompson; Ko

So, who are your picks?

Brandle Chamblee of the Golf Channel argues that the long hitters who putt reasonably well should be favored--Stacey Lewis, Jessica Korda, Angela Stanford, Ewert-S, etc. Given that the course is a little longer than usual, and the fairways wide, what makes you think Miyazato or Inbee Park should be favorites?

Golf is still about getting the ball in the hole, and nobody does it better than those 2. Miyazato's had time to prepare; Park is used to contending and winning. If St. Andrews is hard and fast, it benefits the shorter hitters while putting a premium on touch and judgment into the greens and around/on them. Again, advantage Miyazato and Park. If you look down my top 15, I'm pretty consistent in suggesting that the precision players on tour should do very well this week. We'll see if I'm right!
