Caroline Hedwall held off a challenge from Pornanong Phatlum and others today to take the
Hero Indian Women's Open by 2 shots to move up to 3rd on the 2011
LET money list. However, even if she or #2 Melissa Reid were to win in Dubai next week, neither can catch Ai Miyazato's winnings total from the Women's British Open and the Evian Masters alone. So Ai-sama will be the 2011 LET money-list champion!

Miyazato winning the money title, playing in just 2 tournaments, sure tells us plaenty about the competition on that tour. I wonder how much weight the Rolex Rankings give to the L.E.T., as compared to the LPGA?
Also tells us how little prize money the LET has to throw around in most of its events. Hedwall earned the equivalent of less than $50K for her win!
If Yani was an LET member, she would have beat Ai by over 91,000 Euros for the Henderson Money List title.
Maybe Ya Ni will be their Rookie of the year next year!
