Pairings to Watch at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic

There are some really interesting pairings for the 1st round at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.  For anyone walking Grey Silo, check out my scouting report on the front and the back, because once you get out to the course you're going to want to stay out on it, as it's a long way from the clubhouse.  There's good seating around any of the par 5s and many of the par 3s if you get tired of walking.  But you might want to consider following some of the following, which make up my personal top 10:

• 1st tee, 7:55 am:  Suzann Pettersen, Michelle Wie, Sandra Gal:  got some height in this group!
• 1st tee, 8:06 am:  Inbee Park, Anna Nordqvist, Christina Kim:  great to see Xtina in a prime-time pairing
• 11th tee, 12:54 pm:  Cristie Kerr, Stacy Lewis, Morgan Pressel:  USA! USA!
• 11th tee, 1:05 pm:  Na Yeon Choi, Lydia Ko, Gerina Piller:  great chance to see how Piller's game stacks up against 2 of the best in the world
• 11th tee, 1:16 pm:  Ai Miyazato, Hee Young Park, Jennifer Johnson:  of course I'd be following my favorite golfer....
• 1st tee, 7:44 am:  So Yeon Ryu, Angela Stanford, Brittany Lang:  they have a history of playing Grey Silo well
• 1st tee, 1:17 pm:  Catriona Matthew, Mirim Lee, Line Vedel:  likely contender with a pair of rookies who are likely to make it on the LPGA
• 11th tee, 7:54 am:  Laura Davies, Lorie Kane, Meena Lee:  'nuff said!
• 1st tee, 1:39 pm:  Laura Diaz, Ayako Uehara, Sydnee Michaels:  nice mix of styles
• 1st tee, 12:22 pm:  Vicky Hurst, Austin Ernst, Maude-Aimee Leblanc:  bombs away!

If you want to see a big-name player up close without many crowds, get to the 11th tee at 7:10 am for Jeong Jang, the 1st tee at 8:17 am for Shanshan Feng, or the 1st tee at 1:28 pm for In-Kyung Kim!
