FL Q-School Friday: Connelly Chases Down Nocera

The final round of the Florida sectional qualifier for LPGA Q-School is complete and, thanks to a 76 by 3rd-round leader and LET standout Gwladys Nocera, Stephanie Connelly's 71 was good enough for the win. Briana Vega ended up 1 shot behind Nocera, and 1 shot behind her were Tiffany Joh and Lauren Doughtie. Paola Moreno came back from a bad 1st round to notch a top 10, while Marianne Skarpnord, Lisa Ferrero, Stephanie Na, Sofie Andersson, Maria Hernandez, Nikki Garrett, and Malinda Johnson played well enough to keep playing in December. The only unexpected casualties of the final cut line (we're talking pre-tournament expectations here) were Caroline Larsson and Jennie Lee.
