I was hoping to share for New Year's Day a few clips from the 2013 Kohaku Uta Gassen (which I tweeted about sporadically and belatedly @mlyhlssgolf), but NHK has youtube locked down, as usual. So instead I'm linking to some images of 1/1/14 in Japan and the rest of the world.
