So many big stories coming out of the 1st 2 days of the Wegmans LPGA Championship that it's hard to know where to start: Se Ri Pak's miraculous comeback from her shoulder injury to lead at the halfway point, Grace Park's shocking retirement announcement, Ya Ni Tseng's barely making the cut, the rest of the LPGA's super-elite in the hunt, Sun Young Yoo and So Yeon Ryu each having a good chance to win 2 of the last 3 majors, Jeong Jang's Rochester resurgence, Locust Hill showing its teeth, the inability of anyone to break away from the pack, missed cuts from Amy Yang, Angela Stanford, Azahara Munoz, Hee Kyung Seo, Michelle Wie, Natalie Gulbis, Cheyenne Woods, and a host of others....
I'd catch my breath, but it's about time to take the girls to Japanese school, and with no internet access at the University at Buffalo for me (because they close their library on Saturdays during the summer), I'm going to be catching up on my Thursday and Friday stories offline this morning, then taking advantage of the girls attending some birthday parties to post them in the afternoon. Then we head out to Pittsford, where I'll catch up on Saturday's action. The plan Sunday is to take the girls to follow Paula Creamer until they get tired of it, take them to the bounce house and the food tent, and then head out onto the course alone to follow my favorite players in the hunt.
Seeing the midnight showing of Prometheus late night Thursday and going along with onechan's class on an all-day field trip Friday has thrown off my blogging schedule. Sorry about that, but they were worth it!
