For what it's worth, here are the field lists for the 2nd-stage Q-School events being run by the JLPGA this week. I'm relying on google translator technology here, so bear with me.
Ibaraki Prefecture: starts today, but no names leap out at me.
Gunma Prefecture: Na Ri Kim starts tomorrow.
Kyoto Prefecture: Sun Ju Ahn, Yuki Sakurai, and Mai Arai head off today.
Hyogo Prefecture: Onnarin Sattayabanphot, Riko Higashio, and Ritsuko Ryu head off today.
Hoping to have better luck when the 1st-round results are posted.
[Update 1 (3:02 am): Trying to confirm that top KLPGA players from last season are not entered in JLPGA Q-School, I noticed that Hee Kyung Seo, So Yeon Ryu, Ha Neul Kim, and He Yong Choi are all entered in this week's LET/KLPGA event (along with Minea Blomqvist, Hye Jung Choi, Il Mi Chung, Julieta Granada, Jin Joo Hong, Young Kim, Sarah Lee, and Anna Rawson from the LPGA), but not Sun Ju Ahn. While it's true they're not listed for the Wednesday or Thursday pro-ams, it would be very difficult to play Tuesday through Thursday in Japan and make it back to Korea in time for a Friday starting time....]
[Update 2 (3:15 am): Here are the 1st-round results from Ibaraki, Kyoto, and Hyogo.]
[Update 3 (3:27 am): In Hyogo, Moo sits 4 shots off the lead in T3 after shooting a 71; she recovered from a double bogey on the 362-yard par-4 12th with 2 birdies in her last 5 holes. Despite making 4 birdies in a row as she made the turn, Ritsuko Ryu shot a 74, as she made 7 bogeys in all, but she's still T14. Riko Higashio needed 2 birdies over her last 6 holes to salvage a 75 (T19).]
[Update 4 (3:34 am): In Kyoto, Sun Ju Ahn is T2 after shooting a 70; she finished +2 over her last 7 holes, so has plenty of room for improvement tomorrow. Mai Arai finished double bogey-bogey for a 74 that left her T14. Yuki Sakurai started with 2 bogeys and a triple in her 1st 6 holes, so her 76 (T24) wasn't all that disastrous in the end.]
