Good Luck to All in Stage II of LPGA Q-School!

LPGA.com has a nice preview of Stage II of Q-School, which begins later today.  I'll definitely be checking in to see how the players the LPGA features do, as well as others who did well in Stage I, not to mention visitors from the LET like Lee-Anne Pace, Melissa Reid, Rebecca Artis, Isabelle Boineau, Benedikte Grotvedt, and Line Vedel (although not Charley Hull, who plans to compete mostly in Europe for at least another year and will be playing in the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia this week on a sponsor's invitation).

Like many others, I was disappointed to see that neither Sun-Ju Ahn nor Ha-Neul Kim stuck with their decisions to tee it up in Stage II, but I'm holding out hope that Ariya Jutanugarn's shoulder will be healed enough for her to play in Stage III and that the JLPGA's Mi-Jeong Jeon will give the LPGA a try in December, as well (they both were ranked in the top 25 in the Rolex Rankings as of 8/6/13 and so are eligible to skip this stage).  It'll be interesting to see how the relatively unheralded crop of South Koreans does in Stage II.  If they can outdo the Australian and Taiwanese contingents, I'll be impressed.

Oh, and of course I'll be rooting for all-world names like Babe Liu and Scooby Liu from Taiwan (please let them be related) and Amelia Ek and Jenni Jenq from California....

The LPGA hasn't posted a link to scores just yet, but it'll probably appear on their Q-School page when they do.

I met Isabelle Boineau last year on a course in the south of France, this is a really lovely and very nice person. I hope she will continue to grow.
