Where Can You Find the Funny on the Intertubes?

The funny can be found in Claire's posts at The Weblog. It may also be found in norbizness's posts at Happy Furry Puppy Story Time. They have been moving up this year's Timex Rankings (for bloggy fun) faster than Meaghan Francella on the Rolex Rankings.

This message has been approved by the Committee to Enlist Shannon M and Sloucho to Take a Break from Working for a Living and Cajole peter ramus into Getting a New Computer.

Don't thank me yet--if you subtract the visits I get from your readers from the ones you get from ours, we'll be able to offer empirical proof of the negative value of the "insignificant microbe" link. Plus, it's going to take a lot of funny to knock off The Poor Man Institute and Sadly, No! from their thrones. And now they'll be gunning for you. Lock and load your so-bad-it's-sublime YouTube music video ammo.... Can sea otters do that?

Constructivist,
I have a proposal for you that I believe can help both of us: You add me to your blogroll and I'll add you to mine We'll be two insignificant microbes helping each other climb the food chain . . .

Provided you change the last word of your blog's name to "Calamari"--yum! Ah, whatever. Done. I left a calling card at your place.

Seriously, though, do you think TTLB will ever update their rankings of the bottom feeders of the ecosystem? None of my blogs' data has been updated in 2007. So sad!

Yeah, TTLB's rankings are totally inaccurate. I heard someone say that TTLB won't exist much longer . . .
I don't know why I got involved with it, considering I'm in the same social group I was in high school.

It's an arms race between people coming up with ranking systems and others figuring out how to game them. Eventually you get tired of tweaking your formulae, or run out of money.
